Cancer has shaped my life in ways I never expected. I lost my dad to stomach cancer. I lost my dear friend Carrie to breast cancer. And like so many others, I have watched too many friends and family members navigate this disease.
Being beside the people I love changed me. It deepened my commitment to do something meaningful in the face of loss.
As I begin my term as President of the Cancer Lifeline’s Board of Directors, this work feels deeply personal. I made a promise to my dad and to Carrie that I would do everything I could to combat this disease and support the people facing it.
Serving Cancer Lifeline is one of the most meaningful ways I can honor Carrie, my dad and family and friends navigating the disease.
Through Fundraising with Friends, I am raising critical dollars to ensure individuals and families impacted by cancer receive the emotional and mental health support they deserve.
Will you join me in supporting Cancer Lifeline today? Your gift, of any amount, helps ensure that no one has to face cancer alone.
